This is an entertaining play for all the family which has the added advantage that all profits for each evening will be going to the seven individual charities listed below!

The first part of the evening is a light hearted play about a middle aged man, Shakey Threwer, looking back on his life in the early seventies when he and his friends tried to form a “Glam Rock” band and reminiscing about his unrequited love for his best friend’s girlfriend. The play is linked with music of that era…. who could forget the Sweet, Slade, David Bowie and so on and so forth, with a bit of Donnie Osmond thrown in. The last part of the evening will be a selection of songs and dances from the seventies.

The charities chosen are as follows:-

Sunday 17th - Panbride Youth Group,

Monday 18th - Innes Wilson Trust,

Tuesday 19th - Special Olympics,

Wednesday 20th - Carnoustie Explorer Scouts,

Thursday 21st - Carnoustie Walkers,

Friday 22nd - Diabetes UK (Angus branch),

Saturday 23rd - Carnoustie & District Girl Guides.
