www.scottishtheatre.co.uk is a project in its developmental stages, devoted to fostering an interest and passion for the Scottish theatre scene. We aim to create a worthwhile and useful online resource, highlighting the work done in Scotland by promoting it to the nation. SCDA is a voluntary organisation founded in 1926. It works to promote all aspects of community theatre in Scotland.
Our members are over 1,200 individuals and theatre clubs throughout Scotland.

SCDA is a community based organisation and operates through 24 District Commitees throughout Scotland. Geographically, these are grouped in four Divisions: Eastern, Highland, Northern and Western. At a national level SCDA is run by the General Council through several committees we employ 3 members of staff in the National Office for administration and arts development. National Operatic and Dramatic Association
The National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA), founded in 1899, is the main representative body for amateur theatre in the UK. It has a membership of some 2400 amateur/community theatre groups and 3000 individual enthusiasts throughout the UK.
